I had the wonderful opportunity to produce this work. I researched the topic about these different kinds of music by multiple sources. All the images used in the video are free domain images including the music tracks being used. I wrote the script, edited the work and acted as floor manager for the production. I was assigned to shoot one of my favorite places. At the time I knew the only place that was my favorite place was my country, Dominican Republic. A summer before I had shot a lot of footage of places I was in. I took it upon myself to go back and use some of that footage and add a voice over along with music that would fit with the entire vibe I was going for.

During my escape to Cassville, New York I had the opportunity to meet the owner of over 6 dairy farms. I took the opportunity to make a video that was in the style of a documentary but also contained light-hearted elements.

This class project was based on finding out what we wanted to showcase about ourselves to the world. The biggest challenge was to narrow down the qualities I wanted to demonstrate based on the overall topic I was trying to go for which was being an immigrant student in the United States.
